The Citrus Research Board (CRB) is excited to announce the return of the 2022 Citrus Growers Educational Webinar Series. CRB will be holding four one-hour webinars scheduled for June 7, 14, 21, 28. Each webinar will highlight a specific CRB-funded research area and provide technical insight for growers.

Overview of Sweet Orange Scab (Elsinoё australis) and Citrus Canker (Xanthomonas citri subsp. citri) and their potential impact on citrus production in California
On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, Sonia Rios, Area Subtropical Horticulture Advisor, Cooperative Extension Riverside County, will be opening the webinar with a regional farm advisor update. She will be followed by Dr. Jim Adaskaveg, Professor of Plant Pathology, UC Riverside, who will provide an overview of Sweet Orange Scab and Citrus Canker
Continuing Education Units: This webinar is approved for 1-hour of “Other” continuing education units from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CDPR) and 1-hour of IPM from Certified Crop Advisers (CCA).
