Event: Integrated Water & Nitrogen Management Training 2026
January 20-22, 2026, in Bakersfield, Tulare and Parlier
The Southern San Joaquin Valley ILRP Coalitions provided FREE one-day training events through their joint Management Practices Evaluation Program (SSJV MPEP). The presentations and materials were developed to assist growers and advisors with crop-specific information about nutrient management, irrigation efficiency, and the critical relationship between on-farm water and nitrogen management. Attendees learned about how to use water and nitrogen efficiently to conserve and protect groundwater resources and farm productively. The development of these resources was generously funded by a CDFA Water Efficiency Technical Assistance grant to the SSJV MPEP.
