From UCANR: "We all know pistachios are the most salt tolerant crop in the San Joaquin Valley and provide economic yields on dirt that would kill other crops. 25 years ago the first UC study on pistachio ET came up with about a 45 inch in-season ET. Nitrogen Management Plan Self-Certification Training

Central Valley Water Quality Coalitions are offering training sessions for growers who want to certify their own Nitrogen Management Plans (NMP) for properties located in High Vulnerability areas. The training sessions are put on by Certified Crop Advisors (CCAs) who have completed a curriculum training approved by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) and University of California.
